The Tyler Perry drama will continue in 2022.

BET announced today that Tyler Perry's The Oval has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes a week into the drama's sophomore run, which premiered with an average of 1.4 million viewers last Tuesday.
The series follows Hunter Franklin, who has just been elected President of the United States thanks to help from certain influential people. As he and his seemingly-perfect family move into their new residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., it is not long before they shake things up, affecting the lives of the staff who focus on the inner workings of the nation's most iconic residence.
Season 3 of The Oval is expected to begin production later this year, with a likely return in early 2022.

This show has horrible acting. Watching the first season and the pilot episode had worse acting than an adult film.
