The CW has confirmed that The Outpost is coming to an end after its current fourth season. The news was announced on the fantasy drama's Twitter page, with a post stating that the epic journey is concluding on October 7. With such short notice before the final episode, it's unclear whether this ending was planned well in advance or not.
The Outpost follows Talon, a Blackblood whose village was destroyed by a gang of mercenaries years ago. Now the only remaining member of her race, she travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of civilization looking for her family's killer. On her way to the outpost, Talon learns that she possesses a supernatural power that she must harness in order to save herself and defend the world against a radical religious dictator.

I really like this show. It’s different and a great reality escape. There isn’t another show like this one.

Wow, I'm disappointed. The 100 and Supernatural are gone and now Outpost. Nothing left to watch on the CW. I doubt Netflix will pick this one up.

Nudnik is wrong this is sword and sorcery fantasy show : nothing like lost. I fear that they had no ending planned and it will be a cliffhanger. Each season had a main story too.
