The TBS comedy will continue in 2023.

TBS announced today that Miracle Workers has been renewed for a fourth season. The good news comes two months after the comedy wrapped its Season 3 run, which was again well-received by both audiences and critics. Ratings were solid as well, with it continuing to rank as one of cable TV's top comedies.
The show's anthology format allows it to tell a new story each time out. Season 1 was based on Simon Rich's novel "What in God's Name", while Season 2, subtitled "Dark Ages", featured the same four main cast members in a medieval setting as a group of villagers navigating life in time of inequality and misinformation. Season 3's "Oregon Trail' was set in the American West around the mid-1800s with a small-town preacher teaming up with a wanted outlaw and a liberated prairie wife to lead a wagon train west.
The theme for Season 4 of Miracle Workers is not yet known, but a return can be expected sometime in 2023.

I enjoyed it for the most part, except when they tried to stick in woke agenda in the second to last episode. They literally squeezed modern day woke nonsense into a show about the old west somehow. If they do this again in season 4 they will probably push half their audience out, including The Plopster. Stick to what made the show good (not great) then I will keep watching.

I loved the first two seasons, but Season 3 hit all the same gags I've seen in so many Wild West comedies and parodies. I decided to give it a miss and let others enjoy while I waited keenly for Season 4!

Most of the humor felt flat to me. It was played too broadly. But it was fun to see the same actors playing different characters in different settings, not unlike "American Crime".

Fantastic! Love this show so much. Watching Daniel Radcliffe sing and dance to “She’ll Be Coming Round the Mountain” in Season 3 is something I watch whenever I’ve had a bad day, it makes me so happy. I love this series and each of the actors. I can’t wait to see where they end up next.

Wow! You nailed it. Never thought of it that way but exactly.
The first season was a little try hard but the next 2 were some of the best. Mixed history with modern without going overboard. Has great cast such dry humor. Such great seasons.

Another good call. The only downside of good TBS shows being renewed is that I have to see more Samantha Bee commercials. Other than that, all good.
