CBS announced today that NCIS: Hawai'i has been picked up for a second season. The move is no surprise, as the spinoff drama has been enjoying a solid freshman run. Premiering last September as the latest entry in the naval franchise, the series has been one of this season's best performing new dramas.
The show follows the first female in charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor and her skilled team of mainland transplants and knowledgeable locals. Together they focus on investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security, and the mysteries of the island itself.
Look for Season 2 of NCIS: Hawai'i this fall as part of the 2022-2023 season.

They need to solve the Lesbian Storyline, its getting really annoying and dragging the show down. "So she forgot to tell you about a old flame, boo fucking hoo, get over it."

Well evidently enough watch it to make it renewed. Hawaii is always going to provide good storylines.

This show exists only because CBS can only afford Hawai'i locations when they have two shows filmed there to share the production costs. The reincarnation of "Magnum P.I." has had its ups and downs, but "NCIS: Hawai'i" just never jelled.

Apparently they didn't learn anything from the cancellation of New Orleans. Boring story lines, mediocre acting and script inaccuracies make this show unwatchable.
