The Queen Latifah drama nabs a two-season pickup.
May 5, 2022
CBS announced today that The Equalizer has been picked up for Seasons 3 and 4. The good news comes with two episodes remaining in the drama's sophomore run, which has continued to perform well for the network as Sunday's top scripted series.
The show stars Queen Latifah as an enigmatic single mother with a mysterious background. She utilizes her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. Known as The Equalizer to a trusted few, she is an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who will stop at nothing in her pursuit of personal redemption.
Look for Season 3 of The Equalizer this fall as part of the 2022-2023 season.
so don't watch it

So don't watch it, if you think it's unwatchable. It's not the same as the classic 80s show, and that's okay. I prefer the original, but this show is actually good.

What? How is this garbage show renewed? I'm supposed to believe Queen Latifah is the Equalizer. Well I guess you can't cancel a black lesbian female lead.

What am I missing? I can't believe it made it through a first season. The acting is horrible in this show. I think its one of the worst shows on TV.

I fully expected this show to be corny and I wouldn't like it. It is corny, but I like it, it just works for me I guess.

This show is unwatchable. CBS must have nothing to offer of any worth to the public.
