FX announced today that What We Do in the Shadows has been renewed for Seasons 5 & 6. Coming a month ahead of its fourth season premiere, the good news is the comedy's first multi-season pickup.
Shot in a documentary-style format, the half-hour series follows four vampires who have lived together for hundreds of years in Staten Island, New York. When they get an unexpected visit from their dark lord and leader, they are reminded of their century-old mission to achieve total domination of the New World.
Season 4 of What We Do in the Shadows premieres on July 12 with back-to-back episodes beginning at 10:00pm. Seasons 5 and 6 will in turn follow in 2023 and 2024.

Seems like a good show waiting for series finale to start watching always the worst when you get into multiple seasons just to see it get cancelled with no explanation

The BEST comedy on all streamer’s period. This cast is brilliant, strong cohesion between them. The writers manage to keep the stories fresh, funny, and exciting. We’re so glad we have at least 3 more seasons, just wish they didn’t go by so fast, or have to wait a year between seasons.
