NBC announced today that a new All-Stars version of America's Got Talent is on the way. Slated for a 2023 premiere, the spinoff series will feature past winners and finalists, as well as fan favorites and viral sensations from not only previous seasons of AGT, but also other International versions of the show.
The judging lineup for America's Got Talent: All-Stars will include Simon Cowell, Howie Mandell, and Heidi Klum. Hosting the show will be Terry Crews. Auditions have already started, with production kicking off soon.

Why are auditions needed if the show is about previous contestants coming back?
