America's Got Talent is coming back for a 20th season. NBC has set a premiere date of May 27 for the talent competition's return, which will include a familiar face returning to the judge's table. Mel B is coming back for Season 20, replacing Heidi Klum, who was the show's second-longest serving judge next to Howie Mandel.
"It's absolutely brilliant to announce our 20th season of AGT," said judge and series creator Simon Cowell in a statement. "Over the years, we've seen amazing acts and met truly incredible people. It's true that two or three minutes can change your life, and I want to thank every contestant, all the fans who have supported the show every year, and to NBC for believing in this show. And of course, the amazing team, past and present, who make the show so special. Now as always, I am really excited to meet the contestants this year."
On the air since 2006, AGT still maintains its position as the summer's top-rated series, regularly beating out its time slot competition. The brand has even expanded with 'Champions,' 'Extreme,' 'All-Stars,' and 'Fantasy League' editions.
