The comedy will return for a shortened farewell run.

ABC announced today that The Conners has been picked up for a seventh and final season. Coming with two episodes remaining in Season 6, the pickup will bring the veteran comedy back for a shortened farewell run of just six episodes in the 2024-2025 season.
A spin-off of 'Roseanne,' which had its 2018 revival cut short due to controversy surrounding its star, The Conners continues to follow the lives of the titular family, albeit without its matriarch. The story picks up after a sudden turn of events alters their landscape forever. Forced to continue living their daily working-class lives in Lanford in a completely new way, Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky, and D.J. tackle everything from parenthood and financial pressure to dating and unexpected pregnancy.
The 'Roseanne' franchise has had a truly impressive run on the network. From the original show's debut back in 1988, 'Roseanne' and The Conners have combined to air a total of 343 episodes including the now-confirmed Season 7.

this thing sat as an ABC middle finger to the tv world. They screwed the pooch bringing the show back, not expecting the namesake to do a tizzy.
and ABC just plodded along. a completely irrelevant show to any middle class today, recycled jokes, recycled stressors, draining the life force visually out of Dan Conner, and nearly taking down Jackie Conner to.
It was a good spring board.
The "alt" character did good.
The wayward lost teen girl reclaimed her whoreism and now runs the lunchbox.
Older sister is gonna marry reliable Samwise Gam.
Does the show know when to quit? Yeah they did? But ABC bet hard on the roseanne and made this troop suffer 7 seasons.
Was glad to have enjoyed it.
