The Roseanne spin-off will return for Season 2.
March 22, 2019
ABC announced today that The Conners will be returning for a second season. The good news, which comes just one day after reports of the comedy's primary stars inking new deals to return, was posted on the show's official Twitter account confirming the pickup.
The renewal was expected, as the show has been a solid performer for the network. Its 11-episode freshman run averaged just under 10 million total viewers and performed well enough in the adults 18-49 demographic to rank it as last season's top new comedy and ABC's #1 overall comedy.
A spin-off of Roseanne, which had its time on the air cut short due to controversy surrounding its star, The Conners continues to follow the lives of the titular family, albeit without its matriarch. The story picks up after a sudden turn of events alters their landscape forever. Forced to continue living their daily working-class lives in Lanford in a completely new way, Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky, and D.J. tackle everything from parenthood and financial pressure to dating and unexpected pregnancy.
Look for Season 2 of The Conners this fall.

I bet you cheered Samantha Bee calling Ivanka Trump a feckless c*nt.
But God forbid someone point out how insane liberals are and you get all offended. Get over it.
FACT is, the left are some of the most vile offensive people and you have the nerve to act all offended when someone makes a few light hearted jokes about Democrats/liberals. OH Please.
You think THAT qualified as "Hate Speech." Those are jokes, maybe not great ones -- but jokes! Hate Speech is, the definition from Left-wing Google,
"abusive or threatening speech or writing that expresses prejudice against a particular group, especially on the basis of race, religion, or sexual orientation."
That is the difference. For more examples, look at Ilhan Omar Twitter Feed.
