ABC announced today that The Conners has been picked up for a fourth season. The news, which comes ahead of next week's Season 3 finale, was expected, as reports leaked last month that the main cast members have all recently signed new contracts.
A spin-off of 'Roseanne', which had its 2018 revival cut short due to controversy surrounding its star, The Conners continues to follow the lives of the titular family, albeit without its matriarch. The story picks up after a sudden turn of events alters their landscape forever. Forced to continue living their daily working-class lives in Lanford in a completely new way, Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky, and D.J. tackle everything from parenthood and financial pressure to dating and unexpected pregnancy.
Look for Season 4 of The Conners to premiere this fall as part of the 2021-2022 season.

I guess steady ratings but this is dumb TV
Honesty I left it 1/2 through the 2nd season, it has no point...
Please CBS find some new, better written shows.

I can't get over how it's the ultimate insult to Roseanne Barr that she was handed this thing on a silver platter & not only did she blow it SPECTACULARLY, but most people think it's better without her! She still has her podcast with her kids, as I came across it on YouTube or something one time & could stomach 5 minutes of it.
As for Darlene, her actress is a butch lesbian, so no surprise she looks & acts like that.

For the record I HATE Roasanne.. the only reason I tuned into this is because she's NOT on it... the main reason I've tuned out is... no laughs and Darlene just gives me the creeps. No one ever mentions how she looks like a 12 year old boy.

I loved their handling of the pandemic. People tend to gripe over it because it does not have Roseanne in it.
She was so self destructive that if she didn't get fired that week, she would have thrown herself under the bus the next week.
