Amazon's Prime Video announced today that Reacher has been renewed for a fourth season. The pickup is another early one, coming well ahead the action drama's third season, which is expected to release in early 2025. The news arrives on the heels of a spinoff series that was announced just last week, which will follow private investigator Neagley.
"Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season," said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. "We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance, and CBS Studios."
Based on the books by Lee Child, the series follows former Army police corps major Jack Reacher, who roams the country as a drifter taking odd jobs and investigating suspicious situations. The upcoming third season will be based on the seventh novel, Persuader, where Reacher goes undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past.
