No Season 4 for the girl group comedy.

It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Girls5eva after its third season. The comedy was saved by the streaming service in 2022 after it was cancelled by its original streaming home, Peacock, after two seasons.
Star Busy Phillips commented on the cancellation during a recent episode of her 'Doing Her Best' podcast, stating "It's dead. Yeah. I'm just saying it because, f*** it. If Netflix won't, I will. I guess not enough people watched it or watched it the way that counts or I don't know. I actually just don't know."
The half-hour series follows the members of an all-girl pop group that had their 15 minutes of fame as a one-hit-wonder in the 1990s. When their song is sampled by a popular young rapper, its members reunite to give their dream of pop stardom one more chance. They may be grown women balancing family life and their careers, but maybe they can also be Girls5eva again.

I'm just seeing this news now and I think the show was canceled on the same day that I finally got around to starting it.

I thought the 3rd season was the end of the series anyway. It ended like it was done. So i honestly didn’t expect for it to be a season 4

Damn. This show was such an underrated and underseen gem. I wish it had a bigger audience because it was so funny. At least we’ll always have these three seasons.
