No Season 3 for the comedy revival.
January 17, 2025
It is being reported that Paramount+ has cancelled Frasier after two seasons. The news comes two months after the comedy wrapped its sophomore run on the streaming service.
A sequel to the hit 1990s sitcom of the same name, the half-hour series stars Kelsey Grammer as the now-retired psychiatrist Frasier Crane as he enters the next chapter of his life, returning to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to explore, and some old dreams to finally fulfill.
Word is that producer CBS Studios will be shopping the show to other outlets in hopes of finding it a new home. Leading possibilities are Prime Video and Hulu, both of which carry the original Frasier's library of episodes.

I hope this show finds another network. There are so few decent shows on anymore. Just trash and “reality” tv which is a redundancy.

It was a struggle in season one but the latter half of season two it was finding it's footing. Too bad.

Once I found out no David Hyde Pierce (Niles), I was out. Not surprised it got cancelled.

Hope it gets picked up. For me, while it’ll never attain the highs of its glory days, this season 2 final episodes were actually a show of being back on form.

Was it as good as the original "Frasier"? No.
Was it still guaranteed to provide some solid laughs every episode? Yes.
So, here's hoping hard some other channel picks it up!!

The show wasn’t the same without Niles, Daphne, and Martin. Frasier has always been arguably the weakest character on his own show, so not having Niles and Daphne back was a huge blow.
Probably should stop trying reboots without major parts of the cast.

Niles and Frasier together were brilliant. But yes, the original cast of John Mahoney, Daphe Moon's character and David Hyde Pierce needed to be brought together to make the show more successful. I love Kelsey Grammar though; he is talented-no doubt about that. But as another poster mentioned, if he happened to bump into Norm, Cliff, Carla, Sam and Diane at a coffee shop, fans would have went crazy over that.
