The dramedy is ending after four seasons.

Word is out that USA Network has cancelled Resident Alien after four seasons. The news comes with three episodes remaining in the dramedy's now-final season, with its August 8 episode, aptly titled "The End Is Here," serving as the series finale.
"I knew going into it that this was likely going to be our final season," creator Chris Sheridan told TV Insider. "Creatively, that was exciting because I knew we could spend the time wrapping up some storylines and driving toward an ending. I'm so proud of how good Season 4 is and especially proud that we were able to finish as strongly as we did, with a finale that is probably my favorite episode of the series."
Based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, Resident Alien follows an alien named Harry that has crash landed on Earth with a mission to kill all humans. He decides to pass himself off as a small-town doctor to mix in among the people, but things get tricky when he gets pulled into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate further into his new surroundings. As he does this, Harry starts to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and begins wondering if humans might be worth saving.

This is some Bullsh*t!. I have loved this show from episode 1. I really hope another network picks it up. I laugh out loud every episode. Please Please Please reconsider this cancellation or else let another network have the rights to it.

Loved this show cast etc. Honestly as much as I love it where could story go? Imo it has run its course. I felt watching pilot it would not be a long running show because how can you stretch the Alien storyline.

@ Steve
If you thought I was being snobbish, you missed the point. Expecting an ending ≠ elitism — it’s basic narrative hygiene. But sure, defend anticlimaxes with ‘lol’. Fitting.

With this show being aired on two channels, one must wonder about the ratings for each broadcast of a new episode.
In any case,I'll miss this show!

That's the think with TV series these days. They are, and can be expensive to make. The TV networks decided to spend less money (being cheap) and produce a Reality TV show. Get a bunch of want-to-be actors and create a TV series that will last for 20 plus seasons., Not sure why people watch this junk.
