The dramedy is ending after four seasons.

Word is out that USA Network has cancelled Resident Alien after four seasons. The news comes with three episodes remaining in the dramedy's now-final season, with its August 8 episode, aptly titled "The End Is Here," serving as the series finale.
"I knew going into it that this was likely going to be our final season," creator Chris Sheridan told TV Insider. "Creatively, that was exciting because I knew we could spend the time wrapping up some storylines and driving toward an ending. I'm so proud of how good Season 4 is and especially proud that we were able to finish as strongly as we did, with a finale that is probably my favorite episode of the series."
Based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, Resident Alien follows an alien named Harry that has crash landed on Earth with a mission to kill all humans. He decides to pass himself off as a small-town doctor to mix in among the people, but things get tricky when he gets pulled into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate further into his new surroundings. As he does this, Harry starts to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and begins wondering if humans might be worth saving.

SYFY can only write for 3 seasons. Any and all of the network shows get cancelled the next season. Most open ended. I hope it gets picked up, Harry is an amazing character

This is some fucking bullshit! I'm glad the creator got to finish things up the way they wanted, but this is one of my favourite shows and really gutted about this news!

I will miss this show.
Storyline and good music; music that introduced me to musicians and reminded me of my younger years
The last remaining reason why I have kept my subscription to Peacock.
