The CW announced today that it has picked up the fifth season of Sullivan's Crossing. The news comes three weeks after the Season 4 finale. The Canadian drama had already been renewed for Season 5 by Bell Media's CTV and Crave, and Freemantle.

"I could not be more excited that Sullivan's Crossing will be returning for its fifth season," said creator and executive producer Roma Roth. "From the beginning, my goal was to create a long-running series that would resonate deeply with a global audience, and I'm thrilled that our fans have supported us every step of the way. I'm incredibly proud of what we've accomplished alongside our valued partners, crew, and cast and remain committed to guiding the series as we continue to build on our success with Season 5. I'm also delighted to welcome head writer Floyd Kane, whose talented storytelling will help shape the next chapter of Sullivan's Crossing, as I continue to expand my brand and bring another beloved Robyn Carr book series to life."

Based on the New York Times best-selling book series by Carr, Sullivan's Crossing follows Maggie Sullivan, a top Boston neurosurgeon whose personal and professional life are turned upside down after her business partner is indicted for fraud and she is charged with negligence. Deciding to leave the city, Maggie returns home to a campground in Nova Scotia run by her estranged father, where she must navigate her complicated present while confronting the painful past she has ignored for years. When Maggie meets a mysterious stranger there, the two initially butt heads until he starts to grow on her, which only complicates things as she must choose between moving back to Boston and a life in Sullivan's Crossing.

Look for the 10-episode fifth season in 2027.
