“We will air Person of Interest this spring,†new CBS president Glenn Geller promised on Tuesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, fending off the suggestion that the drama might be saved for the off-season. “It won’t be held for the summer.â€
For reference, the final day of spring is Sunday, June 19.

Person of Interest Likely Headed Into Final Season, J.J. Abrams Confirms
As for the million-dollar question, Geller would not confirm talk — most recently from series EP J.J. Abrams — that Season 5 will be the show’s farewell run.
“We haven’t aired the show yet, and I’m not sure,†he said. “I think [the Season 5 finale] can function as both a season and series finale. The fans will be very satisfied. [Showrunners] Greg [Plageman] and Jonah [Nolan] have made a very compelling arc — big, big surprises this season.â€

If J.J. Abrams says so, it is so.
Over here in England we had a BBC series called 'Ripper Street' and when the BBC dropped that, Amazon Prime picked it up and it ran for another successful series. If CBS do cancel Person Of Interest then I do hope that Amazon does the same with this series as well? Person Of Interest is such an excellent show it doesn't deserve to be axed.
