A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

GOOD SHOW! Longmire is believable, in a realistic setting and not filled with screaming out of control semi-adult actors who do nothing but destroy each other while sprewing obsenities and sex.

The only t v show that as good storeys , the actors are all good.ect,do the t v people really think we want to watch cooking , big brother, and all them other silly programs do more shows like longmire and dont cancelled it ,

Longmire is like a well-seasoned classic. The show was evidently extremely well done. It's disappointing to see something that well done cast aside-due to the good quality, it had its audience. It's mysterious & disappointing why no one at A&E would want this fine show to go on. It had a more realistic common nature home town goin's on about it, the reservation life incorporated into it, etc. it really lets people that got to know the show & it's characters down & this show had the feel about it that you don't see that kind of classic feel around really anymore. Thanks to all the actors for all the great work.

Longmire is my husbands and mine favourite show.We are older and love westerns and this is the one and only western show on. after a long work week that is one good thing we looked forward to every Friday nite. We were so happy when the new season started, but into it we watched 2 shows and then its back into reruns, why. That is the only tv show on tv worth watching, your right there are a million pawn stars, pickers, realty shows,over and over yet one good tv show and they scrap it are they nuts. how do I get Netflix. I could watch Longmire over and over. Great cast, great episodes love vik, love all of them. Please keep it going.For all us old western buffs.
