A medical drama following a chaotic emergency room in Los Angeles.
Inspired by an award-winning documentary, this medical drama takes place in the busiest emergency room in the country, where Code Black situations - when there are more patients than personnel or resources to treat them all - occur an alarming 300 days a year.
The outstanding staff of this notoriously overcrowded and understaffed ER work to protect their patients and their ideals by confronting a challenged system that pushes them to their limits.

With all the dumb, brain-numbing shows on TV (I can't count them on one or both hands!), I cannot believe you cancel one that stirs our emotions and makes us pay attention and think. Who makes these hair-brained decisions, anyway? Bring it back!

Don’t cancel this show. This show is for adults and we know there’s little enough on for people with an I.q. Over 12.

Please please reverse this cancellation. This is one of the best medical dramas that has been on television since ER. The storylines and characters are amazing. Please keep this show on the air.

I was looking forward to show returning then 4 shows in, it is cancelled. The network did not even give this season a chance. I am sure ratings will be lower than they would have been without this announcement. The network must know some viewers do not want to watch cancelled shows. I sure hope they do not have a cliff-hanger.

I wonder where CBS people keep their heads. I like Code Black. CBS cancels the good ones and replaces with something stupid. One of the best shows and they cancel it.
