A drama following the devil, who has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles.

Lucifer Morningstar was The Lord of Hell until he grew so unhappy and bored with his life that he gave it up and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns the Lux nightclub and indulges in a new lifestyle with women, wine, and song.

After a brutal murder outside his club awakens something deep within him, Lucifer begins working alongside a homicide detective to solve crime and dispense justice. His new outlook causes him to question whether there may be hope for his soul yet.

if i can't catch the show on monday i watch it on demand. any jerk indicating that the show is not for children is correct. why is the kid up that late? and why is the show being viewed in this household.
do they also watch the walking dead?

Love love love this show! Its light and fun and definitely gives viewers a break from the intense drama of all the hard core police shows.

This is one of my favorite shows, so far this year. Very interesting and funny watching Lucifer take a shot at being human and subject to the same emotions and struggles we all go through, opening his eyes as to how tough, frustrating, interesting and challenging it is to be human. It's fun to see him realizing how different it is from having power over people from, his secure position and now realizing how difficult it is to not become involved with and care about what happens to some people. But, he still has a lot of power. Especially his ability to make people tell the truth, which comes in handy for his job, he accidentally got, of helping a beautiful female detective and getting his first taste of having a job that is actually useful to humans, while finding that in the physical world people aren't as easy to deceive and control and that they actually know more about the human condition than he does. I really hope this show makes it, because I will be very upset if it doesn't.

Love this show, and yes it shows a different story it is funny but it also says they do exist which I believe and it is getting hard to find a good show that is not reality or a contest.

Mike 3674 - You obviously are an expert Casting Director, Writer, and Critic. Why have I not seen your name in the credits at the end of movies or TV Shows? Perhaps you've learned your craft from the armchair in your living room...or possibly you watch a lot of Dr. Phil.(?)

I don't think anyone's particular religion should affect what others watch on a major network. Frankly despite it's biblical implications it is fairly secular in it's approach. I find the premise fascinating, and not to mention quite a few laughs. Very good show.
