I knew I should have checked this site out before watching a series on Netflix. I hate it when a series gets cancelled without any kind of closure to the series. I am not sure if this one does. I guess I will find out.

I love this show!! It is so good. Do not stop watching after the first season! Especially the first few episodes. Even throughout the first season it gets better, and the second season is an immense improvement. Yet somehow it still gets better and better! It definitely has its flaws, and it has some plot or small detail differences from the books (so if you're coming from the books, be prepared to watch it as more of an alternate universe than an exact remake), but it has some really amazing moments and it's just genuinely a good show. Also has great LGBTQIA+ representation - 8 characters off of the top of my head! 2 of them main characters. Really lovely to see :). This show has some amazing storylines and great twists, if a little overly-dramatic sometimes. But, no show is perfect, and I personally really love this one :D. One of the best teen fantasy shows out there, in my opinion!

Freeform canceled the series after three seasons, but ordered two extra episodes to properly conclude the series' story; the second half of the third season premiered on February 25, 2019, with 12 episodes ordered. The final episode will air on May 13, 2019

I really have liked the show from the beginning. I could tell there was great potential. I'm glad I stuck with it, unlike some naysayers that don't like but watch it anyway, makes no sense to me.

I like the source material, but the writing and acting actively work against this show being good. I shouldnt be cringing every 5 seconds at the overdramatization and redundancy of certain plot points and the girl playing clary is an abysmal actress. I wouldnt cast her inan unpaid student film. She has no delivery. That said, istill watched the whole stupid thing. Even Chloe King was better than this. Stupid ABC family/freeform. STEP UP YOUR GAME

I almost stopped watching this but I loved the books so I persevered - fortunately our leading lady is starting to learn how to act now so it is a bit better for that! she was woeful in the first few episodes :(
