A suspense drama following a team of elite negotiators who handle conflict and hostage situations.
Eric Beaumont is a veteran crisis and hostage negotiator whose team is tasked with resolving some of the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases.
Eric and his team use their insight into human behavior to resolve these intense situations while refusing to resort to violence no matter the stakes.
But while Eric's manipulation mastery makes him the best at his job, it also has the side effect of complicating his relationships with friends, family, and colleagues.

I look forward to this excellent show every Saturday night. Please don't cancel it. Its refreshing, moving, suspenseful and well written. Please provide another season! There are so many missing people in this country and so many that disappear its encouraging to see them figure out how to get them back how to find them each week. Even if it means letting the fools walk away. Its will written and there is nothing like this comparably. The intensity and intellect behind the mystery reflects true thought without all the phony gunfire and violence. This show has been better than the movie theater and its made my Saturday nights more thrilling. Thank you for the great episodes so far. Please give it another season!!

And I'm so sick of guns and violence it's refreshing to watch an intelligent show for change ,the cast is incredible and the scenery is beautiful, be smart and give this show another season give the people a chance to find it.

The best and only show on Saturday night that I watch. It is an intelligent show. I guess that this is a problem for the powers that be. I have seen some of the best intelligent shows on TV cancelled. Please do not cancel this show! If you do you will be giving in to the low mentality of 7th grade or below. We like our brains stimulated by using our brains. Next it will all be cartoons!

The good shows always get cancelled. The crappy ones go on forever. I don't watch cbs on mondsys anymore and ither than Tues I don't watch those silly comedy shows. Only otger good new one os on cbs all access. Not paying for it.

Have just watched the last episode of Ransom, quite a cliff-hanger ending, hopefully they will give this series another chance. Its worth having another season, as its an interesting premise, not just another police procedure drama.
Its worth giving it a second chance, it shouldn't go the way of so many good TV programmes, but unfortunately its all about money!

I wish the rating entities would start considering not just the DVR but include the on demand viewing! Too many good shows Get cancelled. Please keep Random. We watch but ON DEMAND!!
