A suspense drama following a team of elite negotiators who handle conflict and hostage situations.
Eric Beaumont is a veteran crisis and hostage negotiator whose team is tasked with resolving some of the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases.
Eric and his team use their insight into human behavior to resolve these intense situations while refusing to resort to violence no matter the stakes.
But while Eric's manipulation mastery makes him the best at his job, it also has the side effect of complicating his relationships with friends, family, and colleagues.

I am i love with this show please do not cancel give it another season a lot of people do not even know its on just saw the last one you cannot leave us with such an ending and not renew , please give us more i have been watching from the very beginning.love the cast especially Luke Roberts.i will b very disappointed and sad if not renewed.

Random is a great show with strong characters that play off each other very Well. This show should continue.

I really enjoy Ransom but I think it would benefit more from a move to a prime time slot. I stumbled upon the show by accident and think it has great potential and would love to see another season.

This show deserved more of a chance.
The network badically ignored it.
Given a moderate amount of promotion, it could have been discovered by viewers and been a linchpin on saturday nights.

Also, after the remaining 1st Season shows of Training Day finishes up on Saturdays, it won't be renewed. Read that here, too.
