A medical drama following an autistic doctor who relocates to a new hospital.
Dr. Shaun Murphy is a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome who leaves his quiet, country life behind to join the surgical unit at a renowned hospital in San Jose, California.
Alone in his new surroundings and not able to form a personal connection with his peers, Dr. Murphy puts his extraordinary medical gifts to use in order to save lives and challenge his skeptical colleagues.

I'm an old woman who waits a whole week to see that fantastic show. It's the only thing worth watching. please change your mind. I loved it.

What!!! they are cancelling the best dog gone show on tv?! just goes to show you that the democrats don't want to offend autistics. Some of them are genius' too. shame on them. I'll not watch that station again. I'm mad as h.....

If they cancel this show it will show us that ABC is ONLY concerned about making the most profit possible instead of doing something that has a real positive story line for all of us in this country. I for one will not watch their shows anymore if they do cancel this show and may even email their customers that advertise with them

Freddie Highmore - the main character that plays Dr. Shaun Murphy - is an outstanding English actor. He was also excellent in "Bates Motel".

My husband, Mom and I love this show! And I know many people who won't miss it either. :) So glad to read it was picked up for a full season! The acting is awesome and the guy who plays Shaun does a fantastic job with the character. They must've done a lot of research for this show because it's quite accurate regarding autism. Can't wait for it to return after the winter finale--and a second season! :)

Love, Love, Love this show. The actor that plays Shaun is so good at portraying an Autistic person. He is the best. Really opened my eyes to the difficulties of people with this disability. Please don't cancel this show! It is by far my favorite, and look forward to seeing it every Monday night in our area!
