Kanan Stark is a fifteen-year-old kid from Jamaica, Queens who is intelligent and driven. His world revolves around his mother, who is a cocaine distributor with a network of dealers around the city.

She doesn't want her son to follow in her footsteps, but Kanan wants to be just like his mom. But he's naive and doesn't understand how the hustle works. As time passes, their relationship becomes more complicated.
