The Middle to stick around for full season
New comedy The Middle is picked up for a full season.

ABC has given its new comedy The Middle a full season order. Nine additional episodes were ordered, which will bring the Season One total to 22. The network also gave similar pickups to Cougar Town and Modern Family, two other new comedies.
