A sitcom following the employees of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.

Shot in the same 'mockumentary' style as The Office, the series follows Leslie Knope, deputy head of Parks and Recreation in Pawnee, and her department coworkers.

Together they tackle various projects and initiatives in the small town, while fighting budget cuts and red tape. All in hopes of trying to make Pawnee a better place to live.
