CBS unveiled its 2011-2012 schedule today which confirmed that the network is bringing back freshman sitcom Mike and Molly for a second season.
The show - which follows a newly dating overweight couple - had a solid run it its post-Two and a Half Men Monday night time slot. It even received an extra two-episode order in the wake of its lead-in's late-season hiatus.
Over its first 16 episodes, Mike and Molly averaged a 3.6 in the adults 18-49 demographic. Ratings for the show did take a considerable dive once new Two and a Half Men episodes were replaced with repeats - falling to a 2.7 over the remaining stretch of the season.
Season 2 of Mike & Molly will see it retain its same night and time slot, following the newly overhauled Two and a Half Men.

Mike and Molly has got to be one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. You laugh from the begining to the end. Even the reruns, I laughed. You have a gem here, why ruin it. Hope to see Season 2. Thanks CBS.

So glad M&M is returning for a 2nd season! Very funny! Love all the actors, too! My husband even loves it, & he has a short attention span when it comes to TV, if it isn't sports! Will give 2 1/2 Men a shot with Ashton. Was REALLY ticked that Charlie screwed with the show, because THAT was my favorite sitcom! Hope it will be again!

This show sucks. Who wants to watch two fat people get it on. At least Barney is nailing hot chicks on how I met your mother. Stupid chubby chasers supporting this show

I love Mike and Molly.It's really funny.All the characters really blend well together.It's the only comedy on tv that I like.It's not stupid comedy.I hope it never goes off the air.

Mike and Molly is one of my favorite sit-coms. I totally agree that "How I Met Your Mother" should be taken off before M&M. It is a terrific show and always makes me laugh. The characters on this show are great and extremely funny. In this sad state of our economy, it is nice to have such an uplifting show to entertain us.

This is a great show and I've watched every episode. Even my wife loves it now. Can't wait to watch season two. Its the best show on Monday nights now. They've created a winner here!!!

Mike and Molly is the best comedy, the whole cast is very funny !! Please dont cancel this comedy !! I look forward to Monday nights, just to watch this show !!

I was really worried because M&M is my very most favorite show and the ones I love usually get canceled LOL Unlike most sitcoms, EVERY cast member is hilarious. There is not one that I like more than the other. They got a winner here, I hope they pay attention.

I absolutely LOVE Mike & Molly! I look forward every Monday night to watching it & laugh just about the whole episode!! I think every actor is perfect for their part. I wish it was on for one hour instead of 30 min. Please don't cancel this show. Take off one of the new ones like Two broke girls. Please keep Mike & Molly!!!

I LOVE, LOVE Mike & Molly. The show is hilarious!!!! I hope it comes back, take off Two Broke Girls, who cares about them!!! I agree with everyone else put it on for an hour. It is a great show and lots of laughter, you don't get too many shows like it!!
