The sophomore sitcom will return for the 2012-2013 season.
March 14, 2012
CBS announced today that comedy Mike & Molly has been renewed for a third season. The network also announced a slew of other renewals, but the show's lead-in, Two and a Half Men has not yet been confirmed to return. CBS has only stated that discussions are ongoing regarding future seasons of the show.
Mike & Molly has fared well following Two and a Half Men on Monday nights for the previous two seasons. The show manages to hold a good portion of its lead-in's audience on a regular basis, which has kept CBS competitive in the 9:00-10:00pm time slot.

We have loved Mike and Molly ever since it first appeared. It shows that even though people have weight they don't have to give up on life of love. It also shows that in America, people are having to double up as a family to get by and make it regardless of how many jobs they have. It is tough and they seem to find a way to show that families make due and still get along. The family is fun to watch, believable, and while they are not all perfect, they care about one another. The show is witty, comical and rewarding to watch. Keep up the good work and thank goodness for another season, we love it!!

I agree! Mikes mom its very funny and should be on more often! Carl is hilarious too! He's quick with his acting jokes and I hope Molly will soon have her baby! Please involve Peggy and Jim in more episodes! Thanks

I will never watch this show. I refuse to subscribe to the fat American stereotype and all of liberal media attempts at making it seem ok to be obese.

I have enjoyed Mike & Molly in the past 2 seasons, but I am very disappointed in Season 3. We never see Peggy (Mike's Mother) anymore, and she is the funniest character on the show. Totally unrealistic portrayal of police officers. The only saving grace this year is Swoosie's boyfriend...... He's hilarious. If they don't bring back Mike's Mom and Jim the Dog soon, I fear that Season 3 will be their last one.

This is one of the funniest shows I've ever watched, it's not just the lead characters but everyone in it adds something that makes it great show. I hope it continues.

What did CBS do to Mike and Molly? I'll tell you what, they have ruined it!!!! Where are Peggy (Mike's Mom) and Jim (her dog), they were a blast? I was looking forward to seeing what was going to come up with Molly and Peggy now that they are in-laws,they (CBS) are missing out on opportunities for big laughs! In my opinion, Mike and Molly are not very funny without their supporting cast, and her sister (Victoria) hasn't been in the show much this season either, another big mistake! Thank GOD for Carl and Molly's Mom (SWOOSIE)at least they provide SOME laughs....The WHOLE cast is what makes the show funny, not Mike and Molly...if this keeps up, I'll be finding something else to watch on Monday nights at 9:30. It's a shame that CBS didn't just leave the show alone, it WAS great the way it used to be!!!
