The crime procedural will return for the 2012-2013 season.
March 14, 2012
CBS announced today that it has renewed Criminal Minds for the 2012-2013 season, which will be its eighth. The long-running series has been a steady performer for the network over the years, but an attempt at a spin-off in 2011 failed, with the now-cancelled Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior lasting only one season.
Along with Criminal Minds, CBS also announced the renewals of other dramas Person of Interest, The Good Wife, both installments of NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, CSI, Blue Bloods, and The Mentalist. Notably absent from today's list of pickups are CSI:Miami, CSI:NY, A Gifted Man, and Unforgettable. While not yet considered cancelled, the future of these series does not look too promising at this point.
Six episodes remain in the current season of Criminal Minds, with the season finale scheduled for May 23, 2012.

MOST OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS ARE ON CBS--BUT I WILL NOT BE A FAN IF ANY MORE OF THE GOOD PROGRAMS ARE CANCELLED.
SEEMS LIKE A POOR DECISION, AS THE SHOW WAS NOT "ENDED" IN ANY SORT OF A PROPER WAY--SOME OF THE SHOWS THAT I VIEW AS SORT OF TRASHY AND STUPID GET A BETTER SEND OF THAN THAT.
SINCERELY, A DISAPPOINTED VIEWER.
Reruns are ok.
But after about 10 times on the same
Shows you tend to want new shows.
I love crmiminal minds and would love to see
A whole new batch of episodes. Love criminal minds. You go
Guys you all rock. And all sooooo good looking.
