The veteran procedural is coming back for another case.
February 24, 2021
Paramount+ announced today that a revival of Criminal Minds is being planned, with longtime showrunner Erica Messer at the helm. The news comes just one year after the long-running procedural drama wrapped its 15-year run.
The series aired between 2005 and 2020 on CBS and was a consistently-solid performer in the network's prime time lineup. Its impressive run reached a total of 324 episodes - an incredible feat by any standard.
Not too much is known about the Criminal Minds revival at this point, but it is said to include potentially all of the cast from its final season. Word is they will be investigating a single case across 10 episodes. No time frame for its release has been revealed.

Will be happy to see this come back. Not too often when it’s basically admitted the show ended too soon as was still popular. I just hope they keep it like it was, baddie of the week, enjoyable watch but no need to invest yourself in years of story or drama.

You know the streaming networks are running out of material when they have to revive series that died a couple of years ago after running out of steam.

Awesome. I'd be okay with Hotch coming back if he's polite to his coworkers including the behind the scenes crew. It was a great show, would like to see the same great cast.

There only doing it to get subscribers but I hope they don’t turn this in multiple full seasons with all these channels or streaming services people will need a $20 minimum wage
