CBS announced today that Blue Bloods has been renewed for a fifth season in 2014-2015. The police drama continues to be ratings winner for the network in its time period.
Today's announcement included renewals of 17 other primetime shows for next season. Dramas receiving pick-ups today include NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, Elementary, CSI, Hawaii Five-0, and Person of Interest.
UPDATE: Season 5 of Blue Bloods will premiere on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 10:00pm.

This is the best show on TV. I record so that I can watch when I have time. I hope that it will stay on for many more years!!!!!!

I think the family diners are great, If more families did this , it would be a better world. I like all the characters. When the kids shouldn't be there they are asked to go into the kitchen.

Any one else a Tom Selleck fan but hate the family dinner table scenes? They talk about things in front of the kids they shouldn't and Danny & the Grandfather act like they are above everyone else. I also like Bridget Moynahan's character, she has to put up with a lot!

Happy to hear that Blue Bloods, Person of Interest. Hawaii 5-0 and the Good Wife are coming back. All GREAT shows !!!
