I looked forward to this show every week. I laughed, cried,got involved with the characters it was like being with my own large family. The actors were amazing. NBC you should have put this in the 8pm time slot. There are more family oriented viewers and seniors that watch this show than not. NBC you don't have any other show on that I watch, will not watch cops, murder, violence, we need more family oriented shows from 8-10pm. Why don't you take another poll, maybe you need to replace your programming executives instead of cancelling a great show like Parenthood. My family is sad, wanted to see more stories with the characters in the show, bring it back please!!!!!!

Dito! Parenthood has been one of my all-time favorite shows. They did a great job on the finale! The show is going to be missed very much. Like everyone else is commenting it makes you laugh,makes you cry it is a very real life show. Touching and beautiful. All acting in it was superb.

This was the best family show on tv!!!! Why cancel it? The show replacing it looks awful and just like a hundred other shows already on. This is crap. I'm so sad andupset. Parenthood is an amazing show and I seriously never got through an episode without crying AND laughing. How can something so great, relatable, touching and beautiful end? NBC, you really, truly, honestly dropped the ball on this one. There aren't any other shows on NBC that I really care about so, guess I won't be watching this channel anymore. Way to go, canceling a wholesome, wonderful show and replacing it with utter crap. Awesome. Stupid NBC....just stupid.

I call this my "crack" TV because I was hooked watching it on Netflicks. I ended up catching up on the computer so I could actually watch it on TV in its time slot. Now I find out this is the final season!!!! No other show compares. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, and it really makes me think about my relationship with my family. Awesome show. It will be missed greatly by me.

I am just learning after episode 2 that This is Parenthood's farewell season!!! Really?? Another great show bites the dust?? For what....a new show that will last a whole season and then be cancelled. I don't watch many dramas, but the 2 more recent shows I have watched got cancelled. I remember years ago when they cancelled Thirtysomething and I almost lost it!! I was a new stay and home Mom and it was one of my only guilty pleasures. Then Brothers and Sisters. Now Parenthood. The show just works.....I so look forward to watching each week and if I feel like It may be interrupted, I savor my taped episode until I can devote my undivided attention to it. I am so sad and mad. Just cancel all the really wholesome family shows and replace them with scut. Shame on you NBC!! I hope the writers did the show justice. I know the actors did!! Miss it already. Disappointed again.

I agree with everyone. Why is this great show being cancelled? There are so few quality shows on TV today. If it has had good ratings from the start and has a large and loyal fan base, then why cancel it? Totally unfair! One of the few shows I look forward to watching. Shame on you, NBC!

I can't believe the show is being canceled! It is one of the best shows because of the substance behind it. People could learn so much from watching the show. I am so sad to hear this!

I love ❤ this show. I've watched it from the beginning and got my mom to watch it also. I am so very sad that it's ending but have enjoyed the ride. I am sure we'll see the actors turning up again in another quality show. I also agree with one of the other postings that its unfair that reality shows like 16 and pregnant and the kardashians don't get cancelled.
