Netflix announced today that it has revived Longmire, ordering a fourth season of the crime drama. It has been less than three months since the show's original network, A&E, cancelled the series, resulting in an outcry from its devoted fanbase.
Season 4 of Longmire will consist of 10 new episodes set to premiere in 2015 in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The story will pick up moments after the events of the Season 3 finale, which should be welcome news to fans left hanging after A&E dropped the show.

Love Longmire, great show, & Netflix is my only cable outlet since I added unblock us.com, I get the entire world library of netflix that offers everything cable & network combined for less than $20 a mo., so when netflix picks up shows axed by networks, it makes it all worth it, like what they did for The Killing, Arrested Development, now Longmire! Can't wait to see what they pick up next!

Yeah now I have a reason to get Netflix. Now I wish they would wrap up The Glades or revive it. A&E and TNT cancel wonderful shows if they don't draw the under 25 crowd. I am tired of good shows being pushed out by brainless reality shows.
