The CW announced today that The Originals has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore drama was picked up for the 2015-2016 season along with The Vampire Diaries plus six other scripted series.

Stopped watching this show as everybody keeps flip flopping around.You never know who is allied with who as they keep changing back and forth.

If I had to choose between the Originals and the Vampire Diaries I would choose the Originals. Unfortunately the Vampire Diaries has run out of storylines and Originals still has a few to work off of. I still watch both right now but I never miss the Originals live. I usually Dvr TVD.
