NBC announced today that The Blacklist has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore drama, which resumed the back half of its second season on Sunday after the Super Bowl, will move to Thursday nights for the rest of the season beginning tonight.
The James Spader-led series remains one of the network's top shows, consistently drawing high ratings in key demographics. Look for Season 3 of The Blacklist to return for the 2015-2016 season this fall.
NBC also announced renewals today for Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Law & Order: SVU, and Grimm.

This is one the best series we have had in years. My husband and I watch this one together. It is breathtaking, you never know what is coming up next. Very well written all the actors are excellent but no one plays those characters like James Spader. Please don't cancel the one show that is actually is so good we can hardly wait
for the next weeks show.

I hope to see The Blacklist continue on. It's my number one favorite. No one can play Reddington like James Spader...who I've always enjoyed watching. Have to agree with DolfanBob about the importance of Red not losing that dark humor. That's a huge part of what's made this show so successful. All other actors are superb in this program as well.

Well hopefully they will keep the show going! It is one of the few that are entertaining without the sex, lousy language and keeps one thinking. I agree with Tina A. could stay up all night watching this series any day of the week. Keep up the good writing and acting!
