TNT Renews The Librarians

The new fantasy drama will return for Season 2.

TNT announced today that The Librarians has been renewed for a second season. The freshman fantasy adventure series is off to a solid start since its December premiere, finishing 2014 as basic cable's #2 new series of the year.

The network has ordered 10 new episodes for Season 2 of The Librarians, which is expected to premiere later this year.

Of course it's a wanna be Warehouse 13...but I still like the sappy show. I hope it continues to have episodes made...I hate it when the cancel all the shows I like.

Ugh. Really? It lost its charm from the movies and never really found its own footing. With "Falling Skies" ending maybe Wylie will spend more time on this series.

I don't like it. It's too silly for me, so I don't watch it. But, I do hope it stays on for those who seem to love it. It seems to be geared more for children and I can see it being a great family show. I don't understand why when some don't like a show they hope it is cancelled. Surely, with all the shows available, there is room for shows to be on that one doesn't like and can always find other things to watch.
