Sorry, being a nerd at heart doesn't mean enjoying zombie plants and other contrived idiotic ideas. It's a bad show period. Just like all the paint by number formulaic and procedural medical and cop shows

Dumbest show on Syfy. They have cancelled shows 100 times better than Z Nation.

For all of you complaining about how bad the show is you have to remember 2 things. 1. It's not the walking dead and in no way tries to be. It's just about having fun and not taking the impending doom seriously. 2nd, it's the syfy network. If it were on nbc then you could say something, but syfy is syfy. It's meant to go out there and make zombie plants and just enjoy being a nerd at heart. And really now who doesn't want to watch ancis entire episode of a big giant ass gun fight?

I couldn't get through the first episode. Far too campy for my taste.

like the fact they keep moving to different states, keeps it interesting

I'm glad for people who enjoy this show, but boy did I think it was a stinker. Bad writing, bad directing and really bad acting - an awful trifecta! It is filmed in and about my home town of Spokane Wa, so it is a minor big deal around here, but I could only stomach 2 episodes.

So Haven is cancelled but this show is on. What's the difference?

Not even close to the Walking Dead but I still like watching it for some not so dire comic relief.
