FX announced today that American Horror Story has been renewed for a sixth season. The anthology miniseries from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk has continued to captivate audiences, bringing in higher ratings than any other series on the cable network.
Current installment American Horror Story: Hotel is five weeks into its run, currently airing new episodes on Wednesday nights. The next installment - which will return in 2016 - has yet to be named.

To keep on topic - Here's my take on this season. The comments for this announcement are more entertaining than the entire season.
One of the things that seems to be missing is the suggestive nature. Basically, just showing enough for your own imagination to fill in the gaps. Which really allows for water cooler talk the next day. This season seems to be all about shock value. Which may be appealing to some, it's kind of boring for me.

Well Duh! I also don't feel that this season has lacked anything without Jessica Lange.

Will be fun to see this season finish playing out. As for Season 6 and beyond, my $0.02 worth would offer some possible themes - Battlefield, Mine, Morgue, Mortuary, Clinic, Lab, University/School, Resort, Island, Cruise, etc etc etc. I wonder if Lily Rabe will be back full time... I wonder if Lady GaGa will return?

this is great news. and bub, you are probably very average looking, in fact most people are. it's silly that you judge a average looking woman like gaga to be ugly. that's wrong. poor women. have you looked around you? most are very average and you would say they were all ugly. sad. indeed. Screw you bub I've seen lots of your comments. You shouldn't have to be a "supermodel beauty" to be on tv, but we all know that's how it works. Sadly. I like looking at attractive people, but don't have to have it that way all the time. You can answer back, don't care won't even know.
