The anthology series scores a three-season pickup.
January 9, 2020
FX announced today at the winter TCA press tour that American Horror Story has been renewed for three more seasons. The good news, which comes well ahead of its Season 10 return later this year, will take the anthology series through to Season 13.
Co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the veteran series continues to captivate audiences, though some installments have been met with decidedly mixed reviews. Still, the franchise remains one of the cable network's top performers and is usually in the conversation come awards season.

Who the hell puts Kim Kardashian in a TV show? WTF are you thinking?

Huh. I thought it was cancelled because it's already December and it hasn't started yet. Are they taking a year off because of covid or are they basically putting off their halloween until easter? Or did they completely move to Hulu so it's unwatchable? Would be great if this information was somewhere to be found. Their site just says you can watch the old episodes on Hulu. Hate all these app things. They're not tv and you just can't watch shows or movies on a teensy phone or small computer monitor.

I am beyond addicted to this show! From the first season this has been a show I was religiously! I hope they never go off the air.

Love the show despite the disappointing last couple of seasons. Hope they don't regurgitate a previous season as good as Coven was and give us another shortcutted catchphrase laden turd with major plot hole that was apocalypse. (The original James Patrick March from Hotel was far superior to what we were presented with). Here's hoping Falchuck and Murphy present with something more truly original and more satisfying than 1984.???

AHS 1984 was the best one so far

Always seems to run about 3 episodes too long. They seem to get away from the original premise of the season and in to a tangent before it ends.

They were going to do a final season. So the network gave them a great deal it seems.

Great news, a FX gold mine, the ratings prove it. Still FX’s highest rated show. Some seasons are better than others as w/ any show, we’re looking forward to the next 4 seasons.

The last season was the most watchable in a long time. I always give AHS the benefit of the doubt and try and watch the new season. The first three seasons were good, then Freak Show thru Apocalypse sucked. Lets hope they are on a roll for good ones now.

Sorry, but I have to agree with Vinny. AHS has been a little out there the past few seasons. I watch it and then I think that’s 10-12 hours wasted.
