The sophomore drama gets topped up.
November 23, 2015
The CW has topped up Season 2 of iZombie, ordering an additional six episodes of the Tuesday night drama. The network had originally picked up 13 episodes of the sophomore series, matching its first-season total.
Solid ratings through the first half of the season boosted The CW's confidence in the show, which was upgraded to a regular season entry in 2015-2016 rather than the mid-season status it premiered with back in March. The extra episodes up iZombie's current season to a total of 19 episodes.

I love this show. it's fun. They do need more stories , that don't have a murder scenario though. That format killed off many sci fi shows. As it becomes a crime show. But this is one of the more fun shows on tv. Up there with 'sleepy hollow' which is probably getting axed after these season.

Such a fun show. My favorite character is Blaine played by David Anders.

Light and fluffy. Has a similar vibe to Veronica Mars (for obvious reasons) - not so sci-fi as to alienate the wife, which is always nice. ;)

And for the record I got the show's premise in 2 or 3 episodes -- she eats brains and somehow ingests that brain's knowledge. I get it..... it was just not my kind of "twist". To me it's a ludicrous as mysterious tattoos or a pill that makes you infinitely capable, or a truly unforgettable memory.. they are all moronic in my opinion. Being a zombie is no more or less stupid than all the others. I guess I just expect more if I'm going to commit to watching something regularly. If I was stupid premises which ultimately speak down to me there are a billion sitcoms I could watch that don't require me to stay up to date with the characters.

Some of y'all need to lighten up. Posting my opinion about a show is not an "arrogant" post. It's my opinion. I'm not telling anyone they MUST agree. In fact I appear to be FAR MORE open to the opinions of others than all you closed minded people telling me my opinions are wrong. You might want to check yourselves before you go calling others names for merely having an opinion which differs from yours.

Ok Fine. This show is a dose of fun. At least the crime solving here is with pure pixie dust and the the show doesn't pretend otherwise. Other cop shows, the pixie dust is there in order to solve all crimes overnight... Surprise witnesses, undisclosed surveillance cameras, anonymous tipsters, blah - blah - blah. Sometimes, for a tongue in cheek show such as I Zombie, you just suspend credibility and enjoy the ride.

Bub, you don't know what your missing. She eats the brains of the people whose murder she is trying to solve. How cool is that? She takes on the personality and knowledge of those people with often hilarious results. This is fast becoming my favorite show.

Bub, you write a lot of arrogant posts in here but you have no idea what you are talking about half the time. How would you even expect a show to delve into the territory of deep story telling in 2 episodes. I mean really.

I love iZombie.

Very cool :)
And Bub- I get where you're coming from but some of the bigger stories have been interesting, especially in the second season. There are a few ongoing, and I won't give spoilers, but the ones relating to Max Rager, Blaine, and Major are pretty good so far. If you run out of TV to watch give it another shot.
