The veteran comedy will end after Season 6.
December 13, 2015
According to co-star Rondi Reed, Mike & Molly has been cancelled at CBS. Reed recently posted a statement on Facebook indicating that the long-running comedy's upcoming sixth season will be its last. She also confirmed that Season 6 will be 13 episodes in length, making it the show's first ever shortened season.
Mike & Molly has enjoyed a lengthy run since its premiere in 2010, airing over 100 episodes during that time. Ratings have always been fairly solid and consistent, and while its numbers dipped in recent years, they still remained respectable.
Season 6 of Mike & Molly is scheduled to premiere on January 6.

Good. McCarthy is not funny in anything she does. So many movies with good actors i wont watch cause she is in them. Also don't get me started on passing on the Ghostbusters reboot since she is in it.

Sad to see the show go. It was funny and I enjoyed each of the characters. Hope the network finds something good to replace and not some reality garbage.

Fan of Melissa McCarthy, I like her movies and Mike & Molly but nothing lasts forever.

I quit watching after MM's success in movies made the idiots in charge decide to change the show. Loved it prior to that, have caught a few episodes here and there and it's been okay. Time for it to end.

Loved all the characters on this show. Katie Mixon was so funny in the first couple of seasons, then she hardly had a role anymore. Why mess with the chemistry? The show lost part of its sparkle when they changed her role. They will all be missed.

I am not surprised. Melissa McCarthy was funny the first couple of seasons then she turned "movie star" and took that persona to the sitcom. I have not liked her in any movie she has made, too foul mouthed and vulgar for me. I will miss the rest of the cast though.

Did not like the show from the start. Glad it's gone.

The show was pretty good at first, but then fell into mindless, boring sitcom cliches. I could even get past that since the cast was so good, but it really jumped the shark when Molly quit teaching to become a writer. All of a sudden Molly started acting like a spoiled child, and things like a first-time author getting a huge advance on a book, just don't happen.

I knew the end was near last year. CBS did not schedule it as a Fall show but a mid-season show. It is also ending because Melissa has a big movie career. Like the show but not sad to see it end.
