No Season 2 for the new comedy.

Fox has cancelled The Grinder after its first season. The Rob Lowe and Fred Savage comedy premiered in the fall with a full 22-episode order but failed to catch on with viewers. Ratings were modest out of the gate and only fell to lower levels as the season went on.
The show's final episode aired this past Tuesday.

I loved the Grinder! The show was hilarious and all the actors had so much chemistry. I can't believe they cancelled this and not Last Man on Earth.

WTH??? Grinder was the best new comedy on TV! I am SO tired of tv execs doing a crappy job of marketing their shows, and then cancelling them for poor ratings. Speaking of which, I have never been part of a ratings group....Who exactly is part of these Nielsen groups?? FYI, Fox (if you're listening), you really should be keeping your good shows and doing a better job of promoting them, rather than throwing them out and constantly looking for something new. BAD business decision all around.

Another great show goes by the wayside. I liked how Rob Lowe's and Fred Savage's characters played off of each other especially since they were polar opposites. I hope Lowe and Savage find something good down the road.

I know I'm not going to get involved in anymore new shows on any of the networks because all they do is cancel them if the whole world isn't watching. They will just replace them with a stupid reality show. I will wait until the season is over and watch on NetFlix or Hulu.

Doomit. I quite liked Fred Savage in this and I hope he gets another show pretty quickly.

I don't know how I keep getting sucked in watching FOX shows and then llking them only for FOX to cancel them... I have to just say no to FOX.

Great cast, but I'm afraid the writing and plot line let them down. So much potential, such a shame...

Too bad. I thought this was a pretty good show. Light years better than that Stamos pile... but oh well. Wonder if they'll kill the Stamos show as well?

This is such a disappointment! This show was so clever, so funny, so well done and I'm sure very few people saw it. Bummer!

What?!? This show was ridiculously awesome! Rob Lowe was fantastic as an over the top actor. Fred Savage was the best thing on the tv screen since the last time he was on a tv screen. So sad this show is cancelled. It was such a fun, enjoyable show. Bad move Fox. :-(
