The writing is sometimes silly and the characters are two-dimensional and inconsistent, which reflects its comic-book origin. (Walking Dead managed to rise above that.) However, in spite of this show's flaws I have really gotten caught up in the drama and I care about the characters. I hope it's renewed for season 3. I must find out what happens next!!

I glad to see the series goes on. I gives me hope that people have open minds. It is fun to see that preacher has caused what it has supposed to DO. If you don't like it don't watch. I will watch and enjoy how it make fun of all human idiosyncrasy. We are all in a monster swamp. Enjoy it while you can!!!

Regarding the show: as someone who's read the comic, for the sake of those who haven't I wish they'd stop dragging their feet on some of the content. I'm genuinely surprised it's taken five episodes for them to even start getting into the details of what's "in" Jesse. IMO they've spent too much time screwing around with unimportant relationships with the townsfolk and their new take on the Jesse/tulip dynamic and forgotten about the elements of the comic that made it a hit with readers, which I won't say because I'm not an asshole that blabs spoilers, but it looks like they're finally getting it into gear.

Why are posts held "pending moderation" or whatever if some douchestick is gonna get away with posting spoilers? Wtf.

Glad it has got a second season obviously the money men know just how good the story gets!!........I agree with Heymon that BANDO you are a d!ck! Why are you putting spoilers on here for? I have all the graphic novels and know what happens to each and every character but I wouldn't put it on here! kinda like it but i cant see how it can renewed yet as it hasnt really gone anywhere and have seen better get cancelled...
