The CW announced today that Legacies has been picked up for a second season. The rookie drama, which acts as a follow-up to The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, premiered last fall and is currently eight episodes into its run. Ratings thus far have been modest, though reviews have been generally favorable.
Legacies focuses on a group of young adults including Hope Mikaelson, the 17-year-old 'tribrid' daughter of Klaus and Hayley, and Lizzie and Josie Saltzman, Alaric Saltzman's twin girls. These young vampires, werewolves, and witches are coming of age in unconventional ways - on the road to becoming the heroes or villains they are meant to be.

I saw a bit of the first 2 series this originates from. If you are wanted more of an adult series like the Originals then you might not be all that interested. You got to remember these are actors playing 16 year olds and the show is dirrected to young adults. This is not going to be like the originals which was dirrected to adults.
As long as you keep that in mind and want to be entertained by kids fighting mystical creatures and such. Then this is more for you.
I personally love the show cause I find the comedy and mystory in the things the kids do along with how the main character and her love intereset are quite entertaining, so for me this is a 5/5.
