The CW announced today that Legacies has been picked up for a fourth season. The early renewal comes just two episodes into Season 3, which premiered later than normal due to the ongoing global pandemic.

Premiering in 2018, the drama acts as a follow-up to The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Legacies focuses on a group of young adults including Hope Mikaelson, the 17-year-old 'tribrid' daughter of Klaus and Hayley, and Lizzie and Josie Saltzman, Alaric Saltzman's twin girls. These young vampires, werewolves, and witches are coming of age in unconventional ways - on the road to becoming the heroes or villains they are meant to be.

Look for Season 4 of Legacies in the fall as part of the 2021-2022 season.
