The adventure drama is coming back for Season 2.
June 26, 2019
CBS announced today that Blood & Treasure has been picked up for a second season. The summer adventure drama is seven episodes into its freshman run and has been performing decently for the network on Tuesday nights despite decidely-mixed reviews.
The hour-long series follows a brilliant antiquities expert who teams up with a cunning art thief in order to catch a ruthless terrorist who uses stolen treasure to fund his attacks. As the duo traverses the globe in search of their target, they unwittingly find themselves entrenched in a centuries-old battle for the cradle of civilization.
Look for Season 2 of Blood & Treasure in 2020, likely as a summer entry once again.

I'm a couple episodes behind, but glad to see it renewed. A lot better than the dreadful Whisky Cavalier, but that's not saying much.

I expected it to get cancelled. I tried watching a couple episodes but nothing drew me into it so I didn’t have any idea what the plot was because I wasn’t paying any attention. Maybe it was ok and I should have made an effort, but I was guessing not.

Something other than reality show. Fun and enjoyable.

I am surprised, yet glad for the cast.
I found this series comparable to "Whisky Cavalier" which was cancelled.
I really liked Pernas' prior series a lot (The Brave) and pleased to see her success with "B&T".:)

This really surprises me. Whiskey Cavalier was such a better show. And ABC canned it quick. Too quick in my opinion. This one was only hanging on by a thread because of lack of other options, in my opinion.

I guess we’ll give it a try now, and binge it on CBS All Access.

This is a surprise. Only because CBS cancels almost about everything.
