Netflix has announced that Castlevania will be returning for a fourth season. Based on the legendary video game franchise, the animated drama released its long-awaited third season earlier this month after a nearly year-and-a-half absence.

The series is a dark, medieval fantasy that chronicles the journey of the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan fighting to save a besieged Eastern European city from extinction at the hand of Dracula and his army of otherworldly beasts.

There is no word yet on the number of episodes ordered for Season 4 of Castlevania, but each season so far has grown longer in length - from four, to eight, and most-recently 10.
