TBS has announced that American Dad has been renewed for Seasons 18 and 19. The long-running animated comedy is just over a month away from its 17th season premiere, which is set for January 24.
The series has continued to be a reliable performer for the network, still ranking as one of cable TV's top comedies. Its episode count sits at 322 - an impressive feat for any television show.
American Dad follows an all-American family led by CIA agent Stan Smith. Their everyday life is taken to the limit as Stan applies the same extreme measures he uses in his job to his home life. And aside from their two children, they also house an alien named Roger and have a talking pet fish called Klaus.

Strange, this is one of those shows that I stopped watching years ago and yet somehow I'm glad it's still on.

He didn't get King of the Hill cancelled. And King of the Hill is actually coming back sooner than later.

I no longer watch anything he does since he got king of the hill canceled for a flop of his show.
